I remember kids carrying pocket knives to school, and bringing guns.
Just farm kids with pocket knives, never heard of a problem.
Guns were for the science fair, lot of reloaders and other such demonstrations.
Different world.

Same here, took guns to school opening day of pheasant (school let out early for the 10 am start) and deer season (hunted before and after school), but unfortunately different world now. Back then you only took your fists to a disagreement (fight), which usually turned into a wrestling match, with a bloody nose or two. |
