as far as which corn or maturity will lead to problems, that’s harder to nail down.

We’ve had a particular hybrid harvest with no trouble only to harvest the same hybrid three days later on a different farm that the only way we could harvest was to give the auger wagon guy a brass bristle brush to which when the combine was turning on the headland he’d stop and the auger wagon guy would drop the ladder and climb up and hold the brush up against the rotary screen to open some of the holes up.

we had a drago twin chop head to which we added a longer back curtain, made a big difference, isn’t 100%, but is pretty close.



You really screwed the cart driver on that deal!
