Subject: What type of dust cap do you use for John Deere Tractors?

Hi there, I am sorry this might sound like a naive question, but I would appreciate your help. I am a starter farmer, and I bought a very old JD8640, trying to make it work. This is my first tractor. I never run a tractor in the past, but I do have some background in electronics, and I have no problem running basic diagnosis and repairs.

The question is, what type of dust cover do you use and where do you buy it?
I ask this because I bought a couple of boxes of dust plugs from local Tractor Supplies, made by "Pioneer - The Farmer's Choice", part number VP5205-4M-GR, and VP5205-4M-YE. They can be inserted into the JD8640 Hydraulic Quick-Connector Coupler, but they cannot stay, they fall off as soon as your holding hand moves away.

Is this "Hydraulic Quick-Connector Coupler" at the end of a tractor is also called SCV or PIP?

The JD8640 Parts Manual calls for "R32419 - Cover," but searching this text return few results.
