Subject: No till nitrogen

Thinking about no tilling our corn this year. In the past I have always used urea as our n source worked in and sometimes did use starter on the planter. This year plan is to use starter on planter for phosphate and sulfur which will have some n in it. Would it work to use 28 or 32 applicator from co-op preplant to put on an angle the same as nh3 is applied for the rest? Not many people sidedress in my area and we tried it a few years ago and yield was not significantly different. Also one man show and hay season ties me up during time to sidedress. No I won’t use nh3. Was curious if anyone else has tried this.
