You need a custom, farmer built battery drill. My uncle needed one to drill thru power pole butt sections to string cable thru and to hang gates. His solution was a WW2 surplus 24 volt starter, an adapter on the motor shaft for a drill bit (likely sourced at work as he was a machinist) and then hooked to the battery on a early 60's IHC Scout. He built it with 2 pipe handles so that 2 men could position it and control it as it ate it thru the cresoted post. "If in doubt, built it stout".
