west central Iowa | I either weld the threaded rod from a leftover gate hinge or a new piece of threaded rod to a the gate hinge to make it long enough. Just grind the ends down and weld together and grind down. I bought a pile of 12" square 12' ties at the salebarn so getting lots of practice, especially since I put the hinges diagonally thru the post so the gate will swing farther. | |
