East Central, Nebraska | not sure i completely follow but yes you can plug the app module in there. and as for the confusion part, the way the implement is configured will keep from confusing one module in the mix with another.
i run an app rate module on all my tractors along with the aux input module, i also have a liquid product module mounted on the saddle tanks of one tractor. there are lots of circumstances where i hook up an implement that has modules on it where i will never use the app rate or the liquid product though they will show up in the can list. it doesn't confuse anything else because those modules are not in the vehicle/implement configuration.
