MO | That doesn't hurt nearly as bad as having a poor crop and having to buy higher dollar grain to fill cheaper contracts. Or buy your way out. That's way more painful and harder to overcome. There's way more upside potential than downside risk for 2021 crop currently. When that changes, I'll start selling. I'm not "doing nothing". I just haven't hit a sell trigger yet. Options are a fine thing to use right now. Straight forward pricing is terrible IMO. Anything sold except a HTA with a call bought to cover sales is ignoring risk management currently. | |
