My example may not be great, but farmers fall all over themselves making year end purchases to reduce their tax liability. If tax rates were lower, more would just pay the tax and keep the cash.

Ironic part is the deductions are not dollar for dollar.
So if you pay more for it then the tax incentive just went out the door.
Dosent sound right but true.
If they did take away the deductions I believe the whole system would pull back or dive.
I was always told not to buy for tax reasons alone.
But man some of those lease to purchase sounds good vs taxes. |
