Gdp growth was better under obama than trump. These big corporations should be paying more tax. Isn't it a bit ridiculous that I paid more tax than amazon last year? And no I'm not making billions of dollars a year.
Absolutely no way big corporations and politicians don't have loopholes built in for themselves. The tax increases will come out of the middle class pockets directly or indirectly. No matter how many lies Joebama tells saying they won't.
As to the tariffs, no, China didn't directly pay them. But it did cost them. Their currency crashed. Meaning it took less USD to buy the same product as before. Once the tariffs were added on, it brought the price back roughly to what is was before. So while it was us paying the tariffs, it wasn't costing us anymore than before. And more money stayed in the US. Essentially, money went to the government that would have went to China. However, some companies raised prices and blamed tariffs while pocketing the extra profits. This is in general, there are some exceptions. |
