Iowa | My favorite - local large independent parts store put a cartoon up when oreileys moved to town. “I need to get some wipers for my 99 f150”. Oreileys guy “is that 2wd or 4wd?”
Dad raised us 4 kids as a parts guy for semi trucks, most of the time he knows the part without looking it up. Father in law rebuilt alternators and transmissions for 30+ years - even had some local machine shops build some parts for transmissions that’d make them more reliable. Now most of that stuff is scrap iron. | |
