southern Alberta | Agree with your comments. Friend is journeyman parts guy. He maintains every parts seller should apprentice mechanics first. Then at least you have a general idea where things go. Another problem is parts books are made up by computer geeks who have no idea what it is on the page..sometimes you need to think like a nerd to find the right section to look in. My local NAPA store is fantastic. 2 man shop. Owner & 1 employee. The owners dad will fill in for holidays.
