So if you use a premium oil that says it’s good for 500 hours and you only put 100 hours on it annual how often should you change? Annual or every 2 years or? It’s $65 worth of oil and filter I suppose $12. So <$80 a change. So obviously cheap insurance. But just wondering if a guy could save some money. Also the savings in waste would be maybe a bigger advantage too!
In dry ND where condensation is not much of a problem, I ran the oil 2-3 years in trucks / tractors that only get 20-40 hours per summer time use per year. Winter use would be a totally different situation.
