Single phase transformer to step up to 600V and then a VFD or rotary converter to generate 3 phase. There’s probably some step down transformers used to run the lights and HVAC etc in industrial plants that you might find used. Use one to step up instead.

I would look into having the motor rewound or possibly could be reconnected by a competent shop. Might get the supply all in line and find out the motor is bad!

Just investigating, it’s a drill press for sale somewhat locally and it’s hooked up now so can verify it works on 575V 3 phase. I wasn’t sure if the motor could even be converted to 220V or if that is feasible.

Better to change voltage first then the phase converter or other way round? Was hoping there would be some sort of all in one transformer phase converter as that would make things much simpler for me but doesn’t sound like it’s that easy
