East Central Minnesota | Thanks everyone for the feedback. I'm an inexperienced cow-calf operator by most standards working on my 6th calf crop and pretty green when judging cattle. The backstory on this guy is that he is home raised. Kept him intact from my best cow who was a real looker and performer. What you can't tell from looking at the pictures is that he has a great disposition, moves really well, was a real fast grower and very efficient gainer. Compared to the other registered bulls I have bought he is holding up way better. He also produces very consistent calves the size I want at about 80-85 lbs. I'm in the bull market again this spring and really struggle with bull selection. Seems like the top sellers don't appeal to me while some of the bulls at the bottom I really like.
