| I'm not sure if news folks are just cherry picking research to prove their point or if research doesn't seem to be well guided. There is evidence that HCQ taken early can be pretty effective at keeping worst symptoms in check (due to an overactive immune system). It's definitely not a super strong drug. However, the last research I saw stated HCQ didn't do much for very sick people in the hospital. That research answered a questioned that wasn't being asked as far as I can tell. Additionally, very sick, hospitalized patients are usually their for much more than covid and drugs like hcq don't fix heart disease or cancer.
It just seems that any glimmer of hope gets soundly crushed the minute it comes up. Got to keep the fear going. | |
