According to him we were going to run out of oil and driving 55 and wearing sweatshirts in our
homes, would save the planet.
Read his actual energy speech, he said "sweater" and "turn down the thermostat" one time each, he said "more coal fired power plants" a few times, and was right on all three statements. Much of the Northeast still had oil fired power plants, and OPEC had made us vulnerable to oil shocks, so he was correct, if not popular. If Biden told Texas to "put on a sweater" and "turn down the thermostat" and "build more coal", then I'd admit he was right. I'm not holding my breath.
