OK, lets back up. Hook that back up to complete the CanBus circuit. Now, look at the electrical area under the armrest. There should be a connector there to hook up a technician's laptop to diagnose the circuit(may have a cap over it). Look for pins C & D(the pins on the connector should be labled in the connector body). There should be 60 ohms there as well. Where you are testing at now may have broken the Can Bus system so you may only be reading one terminator.

As far as terminators go, there are 2 of them. Look in the area behind the instrument cluster.....see if there is a terminator there(that's where the Steigers have it). It may be a 2x2" square black plastic/rubber looking plug that hooks into the harness....or it could be a 3-pronged, triangle-shaped cap-looking connector plugged into the harness. If you find one there, look for another one in the area of the engine computer on the side of the engine. Those are the 2 terminators for the system.

Again, good luck!

The Can Bus system works as two 120ohm terminators hooked in parallel, so you should have 60 ohms total resistance with both terminators plugged in and the circuit complete.
