Amity, Oregon | We haven't been in church regular because of the virus lockdown, and because my wife reads lips she feels left out when everyone's masked. We lost our dog in December and found out my cousin who lives 60 miles south had puppies available so we went on an adventure,. Visited a country church where I know a few people and then went on to see about the dog. Knew we were at the right place because there were almost as many pickups as cars in the church parking lot. Walk in and a young girl is playing the piano, set down open the hymn books and sing the old songs in 4 part a capella harmony. Preaching from the word without power point. Almost expected to walk out the door and see a row 1950s cars in the parking lot or hear the distant whistle of the Shasta Daylight on it's way to California.
