| It’s easy to tell. You go few days early. You call. Pre Covid you set time. Now there are set viewing times. Owner, or rep there. In 5 questions you basically know what’s going on. Just by asking on machines. Forget asking color of boathouse. Ask about any machine you intend to buy. A dealer would likely fail normal questions.
I just called on augers. Ask few basic questions, then “retirement, or upgrade?” Seems his 25 yr hired man decided to go into business for himself. Heavy into RTK, GPS, precision farming... latest, greatest...
But he can make much more doing that work as IC. Guy was intending to retire 5-8 yrs. decided to do it now. | |
