Sac & Story county IA
unsure of the volume.
We would measure in minutes per car to air up. Compressor capacity determines that. The Trackmobile had a compressor toward the big end of semi truck compressors.
We had a TM7 trackmobile. It would do about 4 cars at a time. But it was the A John Deere with 4-14 plow.
There are several reasons to find an older Trackmobile or something like it. Weight transfer, not spinning on ties, braking, sitting off to side to see alongside car.
A person should provide day care to about 10 2 year olds. All saying NO at the same time to do business with railroad. Same idea.
Receiving commodities is way different than shipping. If you don't have origination weights and grades, you will get your head handed to you.
