Subject: RE: Tractor/Manure Spreader Questions

North east Iowa
Your options are Meyer, kuhn knight, artex, tebbe, and Bunning. Pretty sure they all have brakes available, some with steering, and all have litter spreader attachments. As far as spreading sticky gooey litter, there is nothing that will spread and not leave the occasional globs in the field. Nature of the beast. Tractor wise, wouldn't want any less than 8000 series Deere or equivalant of any other brand. Considering the 10-15 ton spreaders weight, and then 15-20+ ton of product on the spreader, you can use up 250 hp quick, especially if the ground conditions are not ideal.
