All in all, the old TR5 was Speed Queen's attempt to care for different fabric types by "moving water through the clothes with specialized drum moves" vs the traditional TC5 which uses the power of the agitator to "move clothes through the water" for a classic wash.

The best, I guess, is the TC5000.
We bought the TR5000 in Jun2020, and are very happy with it. Ours was $999.99, before tax.
I like it because I do not have to use "High Efficiency" soap.
I use the cheap laundry soap from Theisen's in that 2 1/2 gal pail. https://www.theisens.com/products/36-lbs-concentrated-laundry-deterg...
I am a part time diesel mechanic, and it gets my clothes clean.
