Subject: RE: Heated shop question

NC IA
My shop is an old repurposed-several-times 90 year old building, first a corn crib, then a farrowing house, now my shop. Poorly insulated, I sure don't have to worry about CO poisoning, and definately no insulation under the 90 yr old hand-mixed concrete (which is beautiful by the way.) For the shop remodel, it now has a cathedral ceiling, where I have a ceiling fan. For years I've had the fan running on low (wired to come on with lights), always had cold floor and cold feet, until this year it dawned on me to switch the fan on high, now walla, 50* floor temp and no more cold feet! Why didn't I figure that out 20 years ago!
