Wisconsin | With a radiant tube heater you feel the warmth almost immediately, unless you're working on your back under a frozen vehicle. Much more efficient if you only use the shop occasionally, and you compare how warm it feels. Nothing wrong with a furnace either, just keep the filter in place, they're not built for shop dust.
Second what everybody said about perimeter insulation. And underslab insulation being over rated for a typical shop. Unless you have heat in the floor and keep it 70. | |
