IN theory, the 6.4l in the standard trucks is "detuned" so should last longer. In theory.

I was actually told the opposite. The Cab-Chassis were detuned to servive in commercial use. My 3500 6.4l pick-up was detuned from the factory till 7k miles till the drive train was broke-in. Really came alive after that. YMMV
