Local Butcher Shoppe got a mobile slaughter truck 35 years ago.  Keeps the business going, one brother cuts meat, while the other supplies it.  I am thinking we had our last two done this past Fall.  $125 to kill with no mess left.  Another $1.25/ pound to get it cut up.  Getting too expensive for me  to raise one.  Nearest corn field is owned by Tractor Supply.  That being said got a thank you letter from a town living lady that bought a milk crate full of meat or 30 lbs of mixed meat for $120.
