You could also NOT fill the spreader up all the way to keep it light and get some spread.
Ag lime is so cheap, ($35 ton here) That I hate to use pell lime. I think the pell lime still takes a couple months to work so it’s not a major advantage.
Maybe if it’s not a long term field for you the pell lime would be ok?
