Since we are in a bull market, the front must lead. Likewise the deferred will be the short leg in spreads. The new crop will under perform but should get better than we are today. I would agree, though that if we don't plant on time and get new crop corn into the feed mills on time- new crop could be interesting. It still should be after the old crop (July for sure) goes off.
