| That’s not the answer though. The point I was making is the technology isn’t ready yet and I don’t think we should force it.
If you take that same F-16 that you talk about and make it run on batteries would it be more or less effective as a weapon. I’d say it would be less effective and have drastically lower performance. That doesn’t it mean that battery technology will never get there. It also doesn’t mean we shouldn’t keep researching new technologies. It does however mean that until the technology is ready it is likely foolish and maybe even dangerous to replace old technology with newer technology if it is still inferior. Being more technologically advanced doesn’t automatically mean it is better. | |
