Southeast Colorado | For some reason I stuck to my life plan pretty well. I wen't off and raised cain (along with finding a wife) until the age of 25. Always thought I wanted to farm..............but wanted to see what else was out there. At the age of 27, I came back with a family and started. I'd recommend that to any farm raised kid.
I guess my point is..................don't give up yet on those boys. And be proud of yourself for not insisting that they step right in at their ages. I've got a 31 year old son that I know would love to farm. He's found a REALLY good deal 1000 miles from here. I'm incredibly proud of him................and it wouldn't bother me either way if he decided to come back here, or stay where he is.
Just don't go assuming anything at this stage. Nothing wrong with being a little selfish at this point and either bettering yourself or all of your futures.
