ottertail co mn | Pretty close to the same situation here but 3 boys, they would like the land but probably no desire to farm. They watch me killing myself to make a decent living and they are not sure why I work so many hours for so little cash In The pocket.
They understand how important land is though. They all enjoy the space and freedom that comes with land ownership. We have some highly developable land on most parcels we/the bank own.
I am not setting anything up as of now, but I do have a will.
When I die, whatever happens happens. A lot of people are trying to control the next generation from the grave, I have things set up but sure the heck not gonna tie their hands.
I am sure there is some sort of perfect way to set things up, but sure am not going to worry about it being laws change quite often. | |
