Last week’s Champaign County action prices were $13250 and $14,130. The 12/1/2020, 80 acre auction, two miles south of Champaign went for $14950. Lo Farms re entered the farmland market and bought that parcel. It was an adjoining 80 of mine, I had the bid at $14,900 and wasn’t going to do $15,000. Still not disappointed.
There comes a time when you bid way past your “Id pay that” and that last losing bid is somewhat of a relief...
Though it’s a relief... it still sucks.
