CENTRAL ILLINIOS | 1299 acres of farmland sold at auction today, 17 tracts in Champaign and neighboring counties. Prices from $14,400 to $7050, average $10451.31. I'm not from that area so couldn't say for sure if that is high or low but I guess I wouldn't have been surprised to see some touch 15000 with the commodity prices we have and seeming high demand for everything farm related.
