| Do a test. Do 10 samples about 20 feet apart. From others that have done that the test values many times they vary randomly. In other words if you get a high value on the sample for one grid and a lower value on the next gird there is no guarantee the soil in the whole grid will be the same or it will vary uniform between tests spots. Has anyone used gps application of fertilizer and made the field more uniform after many years. Also do you put more fertilizer on higher yielding area to maintain the higher yielding areas or just try to average out the field. In other words fertilize according to harvested yields and soil fertility. | |
