SW OH
Not everyone is screwed. Between my brother and I we have 5 generators. Enough fuel to run 3 of them for more than 30 days, and the other 2 longer. We have enough food to last a year although it would be an unbalanced diet.

If there was a major disruption in this country we would be able to sit back and laugh at the unprepared.

A month or so ago my 30 year old son was convinced that the internet was going to crash. Taking out all financial systems like ATMs and credit/debit cards. He was nervous about the ensuing pandemonium when people wouldn't be able to drive, get too work, go to McD's, buy groceries or play video games. It may happen someday.
