Aggieland | Our electric co-op is pretty bad but for whatever reason I haven’t lost power yet. I think what saved our bacon is the large amounts of moisture stayed north of hwy 79 which splits our co-op. I live on the south side. The linemen are doing their best but these conditions are horrible. We’ve also been able to dodge the Ercot blackout bullet because my direct power supplier isn’t on the mandate list, who they buy from is and I’m very sure they are keeping our co-op powered due to the fact that a 1/3 or more of it is completely offline. They have 15 other power co-ops to spread the required reduction around and still meet the ercot mandate.
