| did a couple years of 60" and 30 inch, with everything equal the 30 inch yielded better and with cattle credits behind both there was no financial gain to the 60. conventional full tillage broadcast fertilizer vs the 60 i would be way ahead. i was impressed that the 60 inch with very little herbicide had very little weeds. i did a 15 inch also and that had a yield response but had higher pops. the next test will be with alfalfa in the 60 inch to see if we can do 2 years of corn on corn with little inputs. | |
