sw ontario | Not sure to be optometrist but family Dr. is 7 yrs. after university to start making money.....I don not look at the Drs. , engineers,ect. as priveleged but more as dedicated, smart students . A lot different than taking a arts class.
My Son is Chemical Engineer, as his wife is also . Both spent 5 yrs. in university after graduating grade 13.....Those 5 yrs. lost income needs o be made back.
I have nephew who did not graduate grade 9 but is mechanically inclined and is making $100k+ running a 1050 K dozer 10 hrs. a day.....
I do not think she made a terrible decision , but maybe more a humanitarian one as Dr., nurse, health care worker ,ect. is not there for the money | |
