Isn't that the main problem though? Seems it is drilled into younger peoples head that you need to go to college to get a job you enjoy and have the easy life. Finances are thrown to the waste side until the bill comes due. Expectations of responsibility are gone. The quote I have posted a couple times from Alexander Tytler just keeps getting more spot on. I was thinking we were for the most part at the apathy stage but Covid has exposed we are likely deeper into the dependent stage than I realized. We have created a financial system that thrives off debt and lack of responsibility making the government the all mighty.
