What gets me is around here is the younger people that figure it’s impossible to start farming because they think farmland is overpriced at $2500 per acre. Meanwhile a lot of these kids are making $100,000+ Per year operating logging equipment and driving jacked diesels and have $50,000 in toys whilst still living with their parents.
Where’s home? I’m in western Leduc County, and it’s very achievable to start up here. But I’d definitely agree with your post. |
