Was your lease with the life estate holder. If so your going to lose most likely.
It became the heirs when the original died, so the life estate holder can only make contracts during their life. As soon as they die, any contract is void.

However
If the lease was with the original owner, and remained in force through the life estate, it may be still valid.

Depends on a lot
