| I started out with a Lundell, I would class it as a snow thrower rather then a snowblower. It was single stage with 2 scoops on the impeller. It would chew through hard piles without a problem, very seldom would I spin out. Also it seemed to have lower capacity on getting rid of the snow compared to the neighbor's auger style. If there was much over a foot of snow, you could see it becoming deeper and deeper as you backed up. Even though the snow kept getting deeper it didn't take much extra hp as it could only throw a certain amount with the 2 scoops, but it finally took too much abuse and gave up.
So I bought a Wildcat, I ended up being very disappointed with it at first. If the snow was hard I would spin out, and it used a lot more hp, because in reality it was moving more snow.
Finally bought a bigger tractor with front assist and IVT, now I like the Wildcat. What I am saying is it takes a good tractor to make a good blower. | |
