We had been spreading 200 AMS in front of all corn and 100 AMS in front of soy. This year going to 100 AMS in front of corn and 6 gallon ATS with side dress. Hoping to make sulfur more available later in season?
As far as hay, been using some AMS every time we spread fert. Usually 2x/year. Normally 100 each time on grass mix or alfalfa hay. Basically if it’s getting potash it’s getting AMS too. We did get Ton/acre of gypsum spread on one alfalfa/grass field this fall be interesting to see what that does for that field.
