Is your hay ground alfalfa or does it have grass in it? If it is alfalfa then using sulfur sources like AMS that has a bunch of N seems wasteful. Also, beans likely get no benefit from the N either. Making a pass with a sprayer to apply ATS seems inefficient also. I only use AMS ahead of corn and my alfalfa and beans get elemental S blended in with P and K.
