Cambridge, southwestern Nebraska | So far we have been able to manage our income so we have our health insurance subsidized. (same age as you). Every year that is the goal of our tax accountant at tax time is get our income to the level of the best subsidized health insurance.
You may need to weigh spending a little more on something, maybe something you don’t even need if it offsets the health insurance. I guess I’d rather spend it on tangible items or improvements than health insurance.
Add...the IRAs and HSAs posted above are good ideas. They can both be contributed to now for last year.
