Wondering if anyone ever run into this . ..The wife and i both 62 buy health insurance threw the government Market place (obamacare)since 2015 . The premiums have been going up like crazy but we generally get a bit paid for threw tax credits . We pick the lower price plan because they stick us with a high deductible regardless of which plan we choose .
Last year our plan was $2450 per month and we paid $450 the rest went threw the tax credit .This year we had a good year an d of course got some government money . After prepaying everything and making some repairs and even upgrading equipment , we still cant get down to where we need to be on our AGI. I refuse to buy things I dont need ..We owe $24k for our health insurance . We are not a big operation this will bite us deep .Anyone ever run into this ?
