Yes, if you leave the switches off you will be ok.
Pulse Width Modulating. This is a hyd. control valve used to control the pump speed. Instead of having an electric motor turning the valve it has a coil. The controller varies the flow going threw the valve by varying the on/off time of the power going to the coil.
