WCIN | They wanted to hold a grain check a few years back, it could have bounced a rent check or at least created an embarrassing situation. I went to the bank to explain why this situation would not be tolerated and we would remove our business.
I was told it was the option of the teller that the check was an excessive amount and made the decision to hold it. They reversed it and put a comment on our account that large checks are excepted, had zero issues since. I think it was $25,000
