Schochoh Ky
This swamp spreads to every state Nass office . In 2007 the Easter freeze , decimated the winter wheat crop here . We carried the old grip insurance policy . When they published the yields , our county was like 45 bushels per acre and all surrounding counties were under 10 , we protested the number immediately. Instead of lowering us below 10 and kicking out the production, they raised yields in the lower counties , one to almost 30 , and lowered us to like 19 , destroying the insurance payments in surrounding counties , but doubling our county . I asked the state director in a meeting why not just punt the extra production because we proved it wasn’t there, he stated they start with a figure and decide where to place the yields. The most stupid answer I’ve ever gotten from one of these guys , they take pride in their work .Yields have been overstated for a lot of years, I to believe it’s a race until Sept, and nothing short , of a huge crop , will plug this hole. The just in time inventory chain in this nation is about to get a wake up call . If the green deal coming into office backs ethanol, and they throw money at them , and keep them running through this , look out above, likewise let them idle and lookout below .
